Obituary of Gary Dewhurst

In the early hours on Monday, Oct 26th 2020, Gary, surrounded by his family at home, peacefully entered the arms of his Saviour. Loving husband of Linda (nee Dick), doting Father of Andrea Dewhurst, and Caryn and Richard Hazzard, incredibly proud Papa to Aubrey and Josiah Hazzard. Gary was deeply loved by his siblings Sandi and Rae Jamieson, John and Deborah Dewhurst, Rob and Pam Dewhurst and LuAnne and Lloyd Grisch. All of Gary’s cherished nieces and nephews and multitude of friends will miss his zest for life, his handiness and adventurous spirit. Although he will be incredibly missed here on earth, we wait with great anticipation to join him in Heaven. Cremation has taken place and as per Gary’s request there will be a private family internment. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 3pm at Harvest Bible Church Windsor, 2001 Spring Garden Road. All are welcome to attend.
