I remember Anne always opening the door and welcoming me Into her home (time and time again) with a warm and sincere smile. I always wondered how God could fit so much kindness into such a little person. During those many interactions with Anne I learned what kindness was and would like to think that her example, even if in a small way, can be seen in how I treat people today. My heart goes out to those she has left behind and my thoughts are with you during this challenging time.

Anne was, without question, one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Her kindness and caring was apparent from the moment you met her. She will rest in peace knowing she was a positive influence in the lives of all who knew her. I wish the entire Albano family comfort during this difficult time. (I’m thinking about you, Joe, Katie, Christy and Jim.) Nothing but positive memories. - M. Boscariol

Ann as my aunt was always an open and easy person to talk to whether it be on the phone or home in Cape Breton. Ann took me on my first trip around the Cabot Trail though I lived there and we finished off the trip that day with supper at the old chowder house in Inverness overlooking Inverness beach. Ann loved her trips to Cape Breton where she would go to the old farm house in Dunvegan, visit with Aunt Mary for tea and biscuit and taking us as kids to Chimney corner to sit on the sandy beach and going for a swim. She loved going to the Broad Cove concerts listening to the Celtic music that would take her back to her roots. During the concert Ann would walk the church grounds with her family while the sound of fiddles were carried across the fields. I will always remember Ann in the old place in the kitchen making meals or in the rocking chair with her cup of tea. Though she is no longer with us I will never forget her and when I return to Inverness during a summer trips I hope that she is there walking the fields with family members from our past still enjoying the old farm. I hope that we shall meet again and I pray that you are with our Lord God almighty and until that day Ann I will miss you. Joe
