Obituary of Randall Ridley McKnight

McKNIGHT, Randall Ridley February 3, 1947 – August 3, 2020 After a courageous battle with cancer, Randy passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital, with his children by his side. Randy is survived by his children Shawn (Amy), Katie (Terry Shelley), Kyle (Jackie), his brothers John (Sally), Neil, Ron (Norma), Brian, and sisters Ethel, Marian, Lila, Cheryl, and Martha, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents William and Maude, brothers Tom, Joe, Verne, Les and sister Bernadette. Loving papa to Olivia, Braden, Julia, Dean and Finn. Randy retired from the City of Windsor after 20+ years of service. He was active in the community, volunteering with the AKO Fratmen, The Goodfellows, Parkwood Gospel Church, and coaching various sports teams. Randy enjoyed sports, especially hockey where he was a devoted Maple Leaf’s fan. As per Randy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Parkwood Gospel Church on August 17, 2020 at 11:00 am. Pre-registration begins August 14, 2020, and is required as per Health Unit regulations.
