Hey Poppa. I still haven’t processed that you’re really gone yet but I know that you’re definitely in a better place. You were a very good man and such a loving grandfather. I may be the youngest but I still have plenty of memories of us visiting you while you and Bea were camping and BC last summer was a blast, I was glad to see you so happy with everybody. I will always remember the days when you would babysit me while mom and dad were working or when you and Bea snuck Cam and I Pepsi’s while mom and dad weren’t looking. I’ll always cherish our memories and pass them down to me my children and grandchildren. I love you Poppa.

Perfect description of my Brother.........(in law).We married sisters back in 1961-1962 and enjoyed so many good times while raising our 2 and their 4.We had tons of family BBQs,Birthday celebrations and 3 car caravans (Mom & Dad Rabideau) joining us camping at various places and not always without incidents..especially Mt Rushmore.(another story)Another time him and I, kinda acted a little strange when walking around the streets of Mitchell SD.What the hell -we were far from home.Our wives soon pointed out the errs of our ways(lol)...Alex played euchre with the best of them and never had to look far for a competitive game especially with mom-in law.One of my regrets is that I never went to any of his Teutonia Club Soccer games back in those early years.R.I.P ALEX....love ya bud!
