Obituary of David William "Dave" Jackson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, granddad and great granddad, Dave Jackson on April 4, 2020 just one day before his 77th birthday. Beloved husband of Kathleen for 56 years. Loving father of Debbie Gronowicz (Mike), Donna Gerardi (late Marco) and Carolyn Cecile (Mike). Cherished Granddad of Matthew (Stephanie), Christopher (Natercia), Jeremy (Andrea), Cooper (Christie), Jordan (Jamie), Brianna (John), Lauren (Johnny) and great Graddad of Marco and Michele. Survived by his sister Audrey Myler (Eddie) of England. Predeceased by 6 siblings, also of England. Brother-in-law of John Dearden (Hilda), Ann Abbott (Phil), late Linda Booth (John) and Tracey White (John). Survived by many nieces and nephews. David was a retired pipe fitter from General Motors Transmission, Local CAW 1973, and he was a long standing member of the Canadian Anglo Club. Dave was an avid golfer and along side his wife Kath, David enjoyed many winters in Fort Myers, FL. He was also an old time member of the Windsor Rogues Rugby. At Dave's request, cremation has taken place. When this global madness is over, Dave's life will be celebrated with family and friends.
