Obituary of Robert (Bob) Burke

"Born to E. Carson and Arleen Burke February 3rd 1948 in Chatham, Ontario. Bob leaves behind his Son's Carson Burke (Harlee) and Darryl Chartier (Natasha). Beloved Papa to Elizabeth, Bennett, Irelynn, Katie, Lillian, Lexi, and grand dog Bubbles. Brother to Joy Anderson, William Burke, and Anne Griffore. 

Throughout Bob's career, he owned multiple businesses, and ultimately retired as Superintendent after 30 years at Ford Motor Company in Windsor. Bob had a true passion for the outdoors. From his time sailboat racing around the great lakes as Captain of his sailboat Black Knight, through to a retirement spent wondering the bush hunting and fishing around his home at Axe Lake in Northern Ontario. Bob always lived his life to the fullest and loved having a good time with close friends and family, often over a glass of Amaretto.  

As per Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will host a Celebration of Life at the Riverside Sportsman’s Club, October 29th from Noon-4PM. We welcome family and friends of Bob's to come for lunch and share stories of Bob's life. Amaretto will be on the house."
