Our thoughts and prayers are with you David, Lisa, Richard, Danny and your families. Just like her name, she suffers no more and is Tranquil. As a childhood friend in the neighborhood, I remember her as a Fun mother and those are the memories you should think of to make her passing easier. Rest in peace

My deepest condolence to the Bortolon family, especially my long time friend Lisa. So many memories growing up with Mrs.B and our shared love for our Big Mac and fries. She opened her house to many of Lisa’s friends as a safe, fun place to share so many stories and just hangout. Later as I went on to be a first time mom, I would go there in the early mornings for a cup coffee and she would take Riley for a walk in his buggy allowing me some rest.
For years Christmas Eve wasn’t complete without a visit to the Bortolon home.
Sadly, the years went by and life would get busy, the visits less but I always felt like part of the family when I saw them.
Losing their dad 5 years ago was so difficult for their family but so much more for Mrs. B. She had truly lost her soul mate and while she loved her children and grandchildren fiercely, her heart was heavy and her body exhausted, it was her time to be reunited.
The pain will not be easy for her family but my hope is that they will find comfort that they are now together, watching over them all
May you now be at peace, laying in the sun or on your rocking chair with a cup of coffee and your cigarette .
You will be missed!
