Obituary of Howard Montone

Passed away peacefully on August 4, 2018 in Windsor, ON at the age of 82. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Tony (June 14, 1995). Loving father of Bruce, David and Steven. Cherished grandfather of Sheri-Lynn, Kristina, Michael, Brendan, Carter and Patrick. Father in law to Deborah and Darlene Dear brother of Norma of Ottawa. Howie was retired after many years of service as an Electronics Technologist with the Atomic Energy Control Board of Canada. In his early years, Howie was an accomplished fastball player, winning the All Ontario Fastball Championships. Howie was also an avid curler in the Ottawa area, playing in the Colts and representing Ottawa as the Ontario Senior Mens champion at the Canadian Senior Mens Championships in 1988. He was also a member of Certified Engineering Technologists. At Howie"s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made in Howie"s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
