Obituary of Sandra Nadine Murphy
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dedicated former Air Force member, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother after a battle with cancer. Nadine passed away at The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc. on January 26, 2018 at 80 years of age. Cherished mother of Lucinda Aitken (nee Murphy; husband Ken Aitken Jr.) and Marilyn Murphy. Grandmother of Geoffery, Mitchell and Jeremy Aitken. Great-grandmother of Cali-Lynn and Austen Aiken. Sister to Patricia Hewitt. Pre-deceased by ex-husband Brian Murphy, sister Marilyn Dean and brothers Jack and Gary Marcus. Sincere thank you to Fran and Gary Smith, Joyce Grabowiecki, David and Mary Anne Aitken and Susan from V.O.N. for their devotion to Nadine. Also thank you to the Hewitts from Chatham and Bothwell for their endless support. Donations may be made in memory of Nadine to the Hospice of Windsor-Essex County and the Air Force Club of Windsor Wing 412 Inc. We sincerely appreciate the professional and compassionate care she received at Hospice of Windsor. Cremation has occurred and a Memorial / Military Service will take place on April 14, 2018 at the Air Force Club of Windsor (Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 143) , 1570 Marentette Ave., Windsor at 1:30 p.m..
