I met Nadine because I was doing research on our Cross relatives. We met one day at a Tim Horton's and chatted away for hours like the long-lost cousins we are. Her help and detailed research kept my enthusiasm for genealogy going. I didn't keep in contact with her often although I will miss having someone to turn to when I hit a brick wall or just to message.

Dear Lucinda & Marilyn Just heard of Nadine's passing today, Feb. 2. 2018. The Marcus Clan will never be the same without Nadine. She was such a vibrant lady. Our paths crossed many years ago when I asked my mother, Jean(Marcus) Ashton about the Marcus family history. She said you need to contact Nadine Murphy, she is the Marcus Historian & so I did. The rest is history as we corresponded off & on over the years re: family comings & goings. I am sorry to say I was not in contact the last couple of years as much as I once was was. She will be thoroughly missed by many. Thinking of you both & your families with Deepest Sympathy. Cousin, Cheryl & Clare Lindsay, Bothwell, On.

What a special lady she wa
