Remembering Chris when he shared a room with my husband Pete at hospital...
Although we never knew Chris...we quickly found out he was a good friend of my cousin David and wife Bertha!
Chris I noted was a kind man...and we would like to express our deepest sympathies to his family! Sharon and Pete Sterling

We have known Chris for many years , a true friend and neighbour! No matter the situation Chris was consistently kind, patient, generous and loving. Chris accepted everyone for who they were never judging a soul! We will
always remember his great sense of humour and his spontaneous wit!! You will be greatly missed dear friend! Our fishing trips will never be the same. Forever in our hearts ❤️ Love Pat and Rita

Our memory of Christopher will always be one of a very gentle, kind, positive-looking friend, and devoted family man.
The last time Chris and Kathy visited us was one afternoon, last September, after an extensive two-year hiatus cruelly imposed on all of us by a devastative Covid. After we had had dinner together, Christopher remarked how nice the weather was and suggested we go for a walk along the boulevard.
As we slowly and leisurely walked, we became aware of his mobility issues but we were so amazed by his renewed appreciation of the nature around, the quietness, the. trees, the flowers, the birds chirping, the different house architectures …
He enjoyed our walk together and he and Kathy promised to resume our meetings before winter.
Unfortunately that was not to be, as we learned much later that he had been through a very rough health period that precluded him from contact with anyone.
We saw him and Kathy again very shortly before he left us.
From now on, Christopher will be walking with us on our daily walks and will remind us to slow down and to take in the wonders around us.
Our heartfelt condolences to you Kathy, and all yours, and may Christopher rest in God’s peace.
Like you, we will miss him.
Liz and Christian.
Yours

My deepest condolences to the Roy family. I worked with Chris at Miller Canfield. He was one of the best employees and a true friend. I will miss his stories of his friends and family, especially the love he had for his granddaughter, his fishing excursions, and his annual trips up North to visit friends.

Q: What will you never forget about Christopher?
A: I worked with Chris for many years at Miller Canfield, and he was always there offering a smile, or “hope you’re having a good day”, or lending a hand to anyone, even if it wasn’t his “job”. He always had a kind word for everyone. He never let an opportunity go by to talk about his family, and how much he loved them, and was so proud of them. He will never be forgotten.

I was sad to hear of Chris passing. I also worked at MCPS for 30 years. He was a kind and funny guy and hard working. Glad he got some fishing in his retirement. Sympathy to his dear family.
