Obituary of Ian Keith Henderson

It is with great sadness the family of Ian Keith Henderson announces his passing on July 21st, 2022, just shy of his 73rd birthday. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Helen Henderson. Loving father to his children, Breihan, Louise (Dan), Dawn, Ronnie (Micheline), Kelly (Scott), Nicole (Marco), Jay (Tiffany). Proud Grandfather to 13 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Ian was born in Canada to his parents Bill & Shirley (nee Barns) Henderson. Brother to Neil (Sharron), the late Karen Boose (the late Ralph), brother in-law to Martin Bender (the late Juanita), and the late Johanna Oglan. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ian was an avid sailor, and a founding member of the LMYC (Lasalle Mainer Yacht Club). He was a proud employee of Champion Sparkplug and Sun parlor & Leisure Trailers. He enjoyed spending his Winters Kayaking and biking in Punta Gorda, as well as spending his Summers at Wildwood by the Lake. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Windsor Regional Hospital, 4th floor Cancer Unit, Cancer Clinic, Dr. Mathews, and NP Tiffany for their care and compassion.
