Condolences to Helen and family. I am glad that I was able to see and speak to my cousin Ian last year at his sister Karen’s funeral. I have not lived in Windsor for many years but with Facebook have managed to keep up with ian and Helens Florida vacations. I remember fondly the Henderson family picnics when I was young. Ian was a wonderful husband and father. Rest In Peace.

Helen and family--Bonnie and I were so saddened by your phone call today . Who would think that such a thing as a flat tire on a bycycle would result in such a treasured friendship. If I am luckey we may meet again and I will be able to thank him for helping me fight and defeat my own battle. Thank you for the extended conversation today I hope you had the same sense of calm as I did after. Hope to see you soon! Mel & Bonnie Vankoughnett

So sorry Helen to hear of Ian's passing, he will be missed by you and your family and by all who knew him. We will remember his kindness and his eagerness to always be of help to anyone with a problem or if something needed to be fixed. His joking and sense of humor always made you laugh, he was a "good man" . Don & myself will remember sitting on your deck having a good chat with lots of laughter and a fun time. Cherish the memories Helen, I know we will remember and recall our visits together with laughter and good times . Hope to see you some time later this summer out at the lake. Take care Helen, and to Ian - "thanks for the memories"!

Our sincere condolences to Helen and her family and friends who knew and loved Ian. As Ian’s neighbour at Wildwood By the Lake I can attest to the gentle soul he was. Always a smile, a friendly hello or a well deserved wise crack. My husband, myself and our children will miss him forever.
