Papa Jim there you are in Heaven seeing Jesus face to face. I met you 7/8 years ago and the moment I arrived to Gateway you become my papa. You had such incredible wisdom and advice always encouraging me to keep my faith no matter what things looked like. Then I met my husband today, and you were the papa he could always turn to for sound advice and he was deeply moved by your love and faith in him. You helped him through some very dark times and he loved you very much. You will forever be in our hearts. You will be deeply missed. ❤️ Thank you for being all that Jesus called you to be! We love you,Papa Jim. See you when we come home to glory!

My profound & deepest sympathies to Brenda & Family. I’ll allllways remember the Jim man for his willingness to pray & minister to anyone including myself. Jim’s personal Faith experiences strengthened my own journey. He was so kind & generous to share his time with me. I’m rejoicing to know my friend is in eternal Glory!✨I’ll always cherish his Florida visit with us.

He was a good friend and father/papa type. He was a blessing as a landlord too. So glad I had a chance to introduce Steve to him. I imagine he and dad are having a coffee and talking about the goodness of our Heavenly Father.

Being one of Jim's spiritually adopted children, I can honestly say he truly cared for each person. His wisdom and fatherly advice always showed compassion and the love of Jesus. Jim you may be watching us from the heavens, but the light you shone here in this earth will never diminish.

Jim and I had a gig that we always did. Not sure if everyone knew that he was a good actor. It could be 2 or more years apart from seeing him and when I did, before saying hello…we would do our little gig. Brenda you know what I’m talking about ;). He will be greatly missed. Love, hugs and prayers for you Brenda, and your family and those who had the privilege to know him.

Papa Jim was a spiritual father to many and I feel so incredibly blessed to have met him and had his influence apart of my life. He was a man of great integrity and truly lived as a man who loved the Lord with all his heart. When I close my eyes and think of him, i still see his bright smile and feel his teddy bear hugs greeting me. He will be greatly missed! To his beautiful wife(mama B) and family, I'm praying for Gods perfect comfort for you! Love, Natalia

Jim is such a sweet, caring man, as demonstrated by his love for his wife, Brenda, and everyone he met. He often had an encouraging or prophetic word for someone. What I remember most about him is his kind demeanor and his sense of humour. He shared a story about a friend who always dropped by at dinner time until he told the friend that after the dog licked the dishes clean, he just put them back in the cupboard. No more uninvited guests at dinnertime! Heaven is richer to have such a wonderful man as Jim there. We will miss you, Jim!

What can I say about Papa Jim? This was a man I loved like he was my own father or grandfather. He loved me like that as well, just as many of those reading this. I heard about many of you through him and his remarkable stories of his time together with you as well. I first met Jim and Brenda in 2010 as part of a ministry event at Gateway. I soon after would return sometimes two and three times a year for ministry from the US to stay with the Tuxford’s many different times. Jim immediately became a papa to me. His words of encouragement, love, support, smile, prayers, prophetic words, and conversations became a foundation of my life. I was privileged to at the last moment drive all the way from NY to Windsor to be there for papa’s 80th birthday in 2017, which for me was one of my favorite memories with him. I will forever miss and cherish my moments with papa but will never forget him importation and love which has allowed me to go on even in moments of my own struggles. My heart is broken but my spirit is rejoicing because I know that what you are experiencing now is the glory you have longed for and loved from!
