Obituary of Carmel Johns

JOHNS, Carmel May 25, 1922 - December 25, 2021 Passed away peacefully in her 100th year with family by her side, physically and in spirit. Predeceased by her dear husband Leo (1995). Loving mother to Brian (Florence), Dixie (Trevor), Carol, Judy, David, and the late Gail. Cherished grandma to 5 grandchildren. Carmel enjoyed many hobbies including traveling and playing euchre, in addition to being an avid walker. Her friends knew her to have a lot of "spunk." She was an amazing lady who touched the hearts of many. Carmel will be sadly missed by many. As per Carmel's wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations made to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. A very special thanks to the staff at the Village of Aspen Lake for the TLC for mom, her caregiver and friend Lynda, and for the incredible support to the family as mom ended her journey here.
