To the family of Carmel; I was often with Carmel during the Covid outbreak at Aspen early in 2021. She was such a special lady. I am sure there is a big hole now, even though she filled such a little space while here. Her huge personality will be sorely missed! Christina

Dear Judy and family, Our sincere condolences for your heartbreaking loss on Christmas Day. We are privileged to have visited with your mum on occasional outings to Point Pelee, and always felt honoured to be in the presence of such a beautiful soul with ‘spunk’! She was blessed to have had your support and love, Judy, in her latter years. Scott and Julia

I was so blessed to be part of her life. I enjoyed her warmth and witty sense of humor and her smile that could light up a room. She would tell you like it was and knew her own mind she touched the hearts of everyone she met . To Judy for your kindness and trust in me to care for your Mom. You were amazing caring and so loving to your Mom she was blessed to have you. Lynda

Dear Judy and all the family: My heart goes out to you all! Everyone should have a Mom like Carmel and lives to be 99. Who didn't have fun when Carmel was around. I will miss my euchre partner, her story telling, her smile, her wittiness, and that zest and interest in life. Now she and my Mom Freda along with Betty and Leta are all together once again. Carmel will be missed by so many and she will be remembered for being petite but mighty! Judy, Dixie, Carol, Brian, David and Cory take good care of one another! We are thinking of you all! Darrell and Barb

For 4 years I was blessed to have her living in Surrey with her son David. I will always remember the fun and laughter we had at dinners. She always was doing something and at times was hard to keep up with. I fondly referred to her as my second mom. She will be missed, and I ask god to put his hands on the families hearts. Until we meet again have fun up there. Todd Christopherson.
