Obituary of John Kenneth Wood

WOOD, John Kenneth March 12, 1950 - December 17, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Wood announces his passing on December 17, 2021 at the age of 71. Born in Windsor, John was the son of Antoinette Wood and the late Kenneth Wood. Loving husband to Bonnie Wood. Special friend to Christine Brown. Cherished father to Scott Wood (Melyssa) and Todd Bain (Jeanine). Proud Grandpa to Noah, Dominic, Keegan, Phoenix, Dylan, and Ashton. Beloved brother to David (Susan). Predeceased by his siblings Richard and Lois. Forever remembered by his nieces and nephews Sara, Roger, Ricky, Shannon, Doug, Helen, and Haily. John will also be dearly missed by his extended family and many friends. John was a prominent musician in Windsor's local music scene having played saxophone in many different bands throughout the years. He was a friend to all, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. As per John's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place from 3:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Riverside Sportsmen Club, 10835 Riverside Dr. E.
