Obituary of Gregory Anthony St. Denis
ST.DENIS, Gregory Anthony June 13, 1952 - December 2, 2021 Today I lost my husband, best friend & love of my life. “It will be okay “ Greg’s favourite saying to me when things weren’t going well. Greg took the long way home but he’s finally with his Lord and Saviour. Passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021, in Windsor, ON at the age of 69 years. Greg had a gift of renovating and for a period of time had his own renovation business utilizing his engineering background. He was loved by many people and if you knew him you got to experience his wonderful sense of humour. He was a great man with a gentle, kind spirit that would fiercely protect when needed. I would like to thank my family and friends who came and gave your support sitting by my side for many hours. And for those that couldn’t come but consistently reached out by text, messenger or email - it never went unnoticed. For my bosses, co-workers (my friends)at Thunder Road Harley Davidson who carried me from the start of this journey with Greg and got me through some rough days. Thank you Home Depot team and (Division Rd. ) Pat & Tim for your kindness with the visit and the wheelchair. Greg was so touched by your visit delivering the bib signed by the Home Depot team that hung in his room until his passing. Last but definitely not least - Hospice of Windsor. There are no words to describe what Linda Britton,Dr. Bergeron, Dr. Cargill, Dr. Burgess and the team of Nurses, PSW’s, PCA, Volunteers for their care and compassion shown to Greg and myself. I never knew what Hospice offered until we needed them. I am indebted and thankful for Hospice. I could have never done this on my own. I thank you each of you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless each one of you for the love you gave Greg in his last days. If desired Donations to Hospice of Windsor. As per Gregory's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice (Dougall) 519-254-2585.
