Lorne, I was crushed to hear of Patty's passing. We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that the entire CJAM FM family is thinking of you. We are making a donation in her name to the Therapeutic Riding Association - a space where my brother also learned to grow. Much love to you and your family. Lorne, I am absolutely gutted to hear about Patty. My gosh, if I ever met someone with such a zest for life. When I left AM800 to move to London for school, Patty went out of her way to make sure I didn't leave until she gave me jars of her homemade BBQ sauce, pickles, and garlic (and she was right - they were the best). Patty always made people feel special in that intentional "I'm listening to you" kind of way, and also brought out that Texas sass when necessary. She will surely be missed by MANY. Sending love and light to you and your family at this incredibly difficult time.

Patty was always the one to give support in trying times. She was called Jerry Lewis doing a telethon because she made people do things even when they thought they didn’t want to… lol She had a laugh that everyone could hear even in times we shouldn’t be laughing. Church and school memories are what I will cherish. Prayers to her family and especially Huff.. a parent should never lose a child.. Her love of life will live on through the ones that knew her best. God Bless Robyn Blue Ragan

This seems so unreal. I am a better person because she was in my life. Patty was my sister, my friend and my number one supporter (even when I made it tough). Lorne and Cathy, you are in my prayers. I love y’all. Until we see each other again, sister friend. I’m going to miss you.

I have known Patty for most all of my life. She was always a happy soul. I remember everything from school in Corsicana, her being our Mascot to days in college at SHSU. More memories than I can begin to describe. Love you Patty

Oh how I loves Patty!! Her obituary says it all!! She was that and more!! Patty and her parents came to live with us when she was around 2 years old. She was such a smart baby. I loved playing with her and caring for her. She was so much fun to be with and around. She always made someone smile or laugh. Her personality was beautiful. She always had something nice to say. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved her husband daughter and family dearly. And they said she lived cats. We always had outside cats and Patty would play w them. You will be greatly missed. I live you so very much. May God Bless you. Love Aways Aunt Deb ❤
