So sorry to hear of your father's passing. I met him while on Drouillard 20 years ago and have kept in touch regularly since then. He became somewhat of a mentor to my son Alex who ventured into the scroll sawing hobby with his help and guidance. He was an exceptional man and friend and will be sadly missed. A beautiful heart can bring things into a life that all the money in the world can't obtain. Mike left footprints of love & kindness wherever he went. We will always remember him for his kind soul and his willingness to do things for others to bring joy to their heart. We will miss you Mike.

I have too many memories to share after 47 years of our friend. He was a great friend and always there for us. He came when John was dying and brightened up his day. Has kept in touch with me by phone and has come to visit since John went home to his Lord. Always made me laugh. Will miss him .

Dear Serena, We have lost touch over the years, but I know how much you adored and loved your sweet daddy and my heart breaks for you. I have memories of when you speak of him how your eyes would light up and just thinking of him gave you super powers to overcome any obstacles. Keep those feelings alive, even while you mourn. Your love for each other will help get you through. Toni Avon

Serena and Regan, it is said that the greatest loss is when you lose someone you loved deeply. To us, the greatest loss is in the passing of your dad and what he meant to so many people. He touched us. It didn’t matter how briefly you met him, for however small a moment he was in your life, you were forever changed. I know we were. He was just that kind of man. He exuded kindness. He was so knowledgeable about so many topics and shared that knowledge freely. He kept in touch and made you feel special. We met your dad on our trip to Africa where he was part of our travel group. He endeared himself to us and our friendship was born. We were just waiting, as was he, for this pandemic to be over so he could travel to Niagara and visit with us and the other travellers he’d befriended. We will miss him terribly and the Birthday Cards he never forgot to send. May you find comfort in knowing that he was well liked and respected by many and he will be missed terribly. Until we meet again Mike. Rest easy. Bryan and Judi Trush

My sincere condolences to Mike’s family. He truly was a considerate yet humble man. He was a friend to my husband, Bob, and when Bob passed, Mike kept in touch with me, always concerned with me and my families’ health and welfare. It’s true, we’ve lost a good man. He left us, but with great memories. - Sheila Housego, Bob’s Glass & Mirror, Hanover.

As his eldest sister I remember my little brother loved to tease us and one never knew what was coming around the next corner. He and his brother Phil were a great pair. They will have a great time together again in heaven. Love you brother! !

I remember Mike driving around The streets of Mildmay in the summer on his yellow snowmobile. He had put wheels on it. After his surgery when he was in Parkwood I would visit him. We reminisced about old times. We had some good laughs. Mike was one of a kind. My heart goes out to his family. He will be deeply missed. Del and Vicki Huber.
