Obituary of Traer Cairns

CAIRNS, Traer “Turk” Passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on May 23, 2021 at the age of 75 years. Cherished husband of Shelley for 33 years. Beloved father of Tonya Shaw (Keith), Michael Cairns (Melanie), Jennifer Trealout, Melanie Milne, and Cristopher Trealout. Special Papa of Lauren, Jamie Lee, Joshua, Nathan, Tayden, Brooke, Noah, and 2 great grandchildren Hayden, and Thomas. Dear brother of Judith Camp and predeceased by his brother Michael Cairns. Traer retired from Chrysler after 31 ½ years of dedicated service. As an avid hockey lover he was a life long Toronto Maple Leafs fan. The family would like to give a special thank you to Jessica, Kym and Trisha for all the care and compassion shown to Traer and his family. As per Traer wishes cremation has taken place and a private grave side service will take place out East at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Amherstburg) 519-254-2585.
