My dear sweet Mom!! It's only been a few days and I suppose the grief and sadness we all feel will eventually fade...but right now is a very hard time for all of us. I miss you and I hope that you know how much you were loved by your family and friends especially in your difficult last days. You will always remain in our hearts and we'll always remember you for your courage and strength during tough times and the kindness and generosity you showed to so many throughout your life. I can never thank you enough for everything you have always done for me...you are the reason that my life was always happy and I am the person I am today because of you. I am grateful for all our time together even when things were difficult in these last days. Jackie, Madeline, Taylor & I will always be thankful for you and the wonderful Mother and Grandmother that you were (and always will be) to us. I know that you are now at peace and for that I am grateful. I hope that you will look down upon us with pride and I know that you'll be with us each step of the way on our journeys. Please know how much you are loved & will be forever missed. Daryld, Jackie, Madeline & Taylor

I remember....I would take my bike over to pick up Daryld so we could go play tennis at the 'Drouillard Tennis Correctional Facility' in the early 1980's....his mother would make him and I a balogny and butter sandwich to give us as energy for our tennis match. I never liked balogny and butter sandwiches. It didn't matter! I always appreciated that she cared enough to do that especially when I wasn't even her son! In later years when I would see her at a get together, she always asked how my mother was! She was always a very giving person! That's my memory of her........Terry Barichello

My Aunt was a great, caring person. I will always remember her taking me to the Hudson's Christmas event in downtown Detroit during the holiday season. She loved to go and shop downtown Detroit and she would take me sometimes, we would take the tunnel bus across. She loved babies and never turned us down when we needed her to watch our kids. When her and George moved down the street from us, it worked out great as the boys would ride their bikes to go visit her. I will always remember when you asked her about her age, she would always say 49 with a laugh. She will be missed but never forgotten!

Ginette will be greatly missed as she was a very caring and generous aunt. If you needed help with the kids or even our grandkids she would volunteer in a heartbeat. She loved being around the kids and often recalled all the funny things they would do or say. It would often be the highlight of her day as she would be in tears replaying the funny stories. She had a great memory for that stuff. She was very loving and protective of all of her family. She is irreplaceable and will always be fondly remembered.
