Obituary of Flavio Angelo Luigi Andreatta

Passed away peacefully at the Hospice of Erie Shores on May 3, 2021 at the age of 72. Beloved husband and best friend of Helga Andreatta. Dear step-father of Kevin Beaul (Lindsay), Mark Beaul (Carrie) and father of Vanessa (Scott) and Valerie Andreatta (Daryl). Cherished and much loved Zio of Brigitte, Edwin “Eddie” and Brayden. Grandfather of Gabriel. Survived by his sister Imelda and his niece Maryliese and family. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Rina Andreatta and his brother Renzo. Flavio was retired after 30 years of service as an Immigration Officer. He was the founder and long-time president of the Italian Genealogy and Heraldry Society of Canada. He was a 52 year member and past president of the Fogolar Furlan, Windsor. Flav was a quiet but loving and gentle soul. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. At as per Flav’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Leamington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Flavio’s memory to the Hospice of Erie Shores, Leamington. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Kingsville) 519-254-2585.
