Obituary of Garry Gordon Hodgins

HODGINS, Garry Gordon July 27, 1948 - April 25, 2021 Passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a short, but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Dear husband of 51 years to Sharon (nee Murdoch). Loving father of David (Valerie) Hodgins. He will be missed by his grandchildren Chloe, Carter, and Cameron. Son of Noela Hodgins and the late Gordon Hodgins (2003). Garry was the oldest of 4 children: brother of the late Melvin (2015) (the late Laura, 2003) Hodgins, Brian (Pam) Hodgins, and Marlene (Michael) Soulliere. Brother-in-Law of Christina Pare. Garry was a dear uncle to his niece and nephews. He will be deeply missed by the Coombs family and good friends Elinor and Jon Proud. A special thanks to St. Elizabeth's nurses Mitcell and Karen, as well as Hospice for helping to make Garry's last days easier. As per Garry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial luncheon will be held when we are allowed to gather again. If so desired, memorial donations in his name may be made to Autism Services Incorporated or Windsor Essex Humane Society would be appreciated by Garry's family.
