Obituary of James Thomas Douglas

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our father, predeceased by his wife Jacqueline (2016), and son Randy Micklea (2001) . Father to Melody Douglas, Debra Gill (Don Beam), Raymond Micklea, Timothy Micklea(Sue) Jim Douglas(Sandra Chauvin), Kim McLean (Wayne), Barb Douglas. Cherished grandfather to Samantha, Gordon, Zachery, Jessie, Talia, James ,Sadie. Dear brother to 3 brothers and 7 sisters. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Jim was a graduate of the Ford Trade School (1954) as a tool and die maker, which he excelled at. He was also a collector of stuff, never call it junk if you knew what was good for you. He had a huge heart, although misguided at times. Jim had lofty goals and tried his best to attain them. One was to build a house on his farm in Williamsford ,ON . He tried his best , but just didn't get there. In accordance with Jim's wishes, cremation and a private family gathering has taken place. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
