Obituary of William "Bill" Pitman

Passed away peacefully on January 25, 2021 at the age of 80. Loving father of Lisa Tomac. Proud Pa of Anthony Tomac. Dear brother-in-law of Jacky Pitman. He will be sadly missed by his nieces Colleen Pitman and Cathy Pitman and his nephew Jim Pitman (Sandy). Bill was predeceased by his parents James Alexander (1966) and Ethel May (2001) and his brother Alexander James "Jim" (2010). Bill worked at Kelsey-Hayes Canada for many years and was a proud member of Local 195. He was also a member of the Windsor Sportsman Club, Player’s Sports Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 143 where he enjoyed shooting pool, throwing darts and playing cards, especially Cribbage and Euchre. Bill was not a man of many words, but he was always there to lend a hand and known by his friends as “Wee Willie”. If you so desire, memorial donations can be made to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society or Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County. The family also wishes to thank the Village of St. Clair (Schlegel) for the loving care he received. Cremation has taken place.
