Shirley, You and I as first cousins in our Hill lineage share many fond memories of past years and our parents, and Don and I Extend with Our Family a Most Sincere Condolence To You, Chris and Family. It was shocking to just learn of the demise of David by chance, having just spoken by phone with him a few weeks ago in one of the many phone conversations over the years with a considerable number being in regard to our being in the Hill lineage and current relatives and happenings. Included were those remaining in that northern, Ontario Town of Sundridge, my birthplace in our home on Main Street and where our pioneer ancestors had homesteaded in the adjacent area beginning with a log cabin, then building a home, developing a farm and raising a family.
Kathy, loving memories of that Lovely Little Flower Girl At Our Wedding on June 24th., 1961 has remained in our hearts throughout the years and Your Uncle always proudly kept us posted of You, Frank and Family. Frank, most interesting is that your sister-in-law Tracey, the spouse of your brother Chris is the 1’st. cousin of our daughter-in-law Patricia (Pat Dyksterhuis). Also much remembered are the family gatherings which we attended at your Chan Family Restaurant where the food was delicious and the camaraderie great in a fine setting.
Jim, although the years seemingly subtly pass, You and Tamara have never been forgotten and Your Uncle with great pride also kept us informed of life in “your world”.
Well! Hope and Pray that you can remain safe during these times of Covid, Patricia “Pat Hill” & Don Borrowman

We were very sorry to learn of Dave’s passing. We have many fond memories of spending time with “Fergie” at Lee’s Imperial House and sharing good music and good conversations with him. He was a very kind and considerate man, and we extend our sincere condolences for your loss.

I worked with Dave for many years. I enjoyed working with him. Unfortunately over the past few years we were not able to get together as much as I would have liked. I will miss him but I will always have the memories. Wally Arnold

A lifelong friend, kind and gentle and humble, loved to laugh and carry on with his pals. For over sixty years, never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. A genuinely nice man. We'll miss our old pal. Lanny
