Obituary of Gerald Rene Montminy

MONTMINY, Gerald "Jerry" December 20, 1959 - December 12, 2020 Passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020 at 60 years of age. Loving Father of Tanya (Josh), Meghan, and Meriah (Josh, Scarlett). Best friend and Brother of Dale, Papa Jerry to Jaxyn, and Uncle to Luc (Jacqueline). Predeceased by his Parents Alice and Rene, his Brothers Wade (Zorka) and Garry, his Granddaughter Kasyn, and his Niece Renee. Jerry was a hardworking man who earned every bit of his retirement from Arvin Meritor in Tilbury. He was a diehard hockey fan (Go Oilers!), avid fisherman, and an amazing father. He was always the life of the party and would create laughter in any room he walked into. Jerry will be most remembered by his quick-witted one-liners, cheesy dad jokes, and misheard song lyrics. Our family’s sincerest gratitude goes to all of the nurses and staff at Meadow Park Long-Term Care-Chatham for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place.
