Obituary of Michael Robert Shaften

Passed away on August 21, 2020 at the age of 60. Loving father of Jennifer Shaften. Dear son of the late Frank (1999) and Mary Shaften. Cherished brother of Paul (Judy), Kevin (Georgene), Chris (Jennifer), Dave and Peter (Melissa). Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Michael was retired from General Motors. He loved his fishing, his cats and he was an avid Red Wings, Tigers and Chicago Bears fan. Cremation has taken place as per Michael’s request. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Michaels memory to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society.
