Obituary of Trent Baker

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Trent Baker on July 25, 2020 at home with his family at his side. Trent will be deeply missed by his wife, Laura Dupuis (nee Shaw). Loving father of James Gillespie (Meaghan), Joshua Gillespie (Jaclyn) and Ashley Harrington (Donald). Loving and dedicated Papa of Destiny, Julian, Rylie, Alaiya, Lily, Darius, Adam, Austin, Arabeth, Isiah and Briella. Special Papa of Katelynn, Branden, Josh, Julie-Anne, Jason and Jazmine. Loving son of Shirley Baker (nee Weir) and Lowell Baker (Susan). Dearest brother of Claudette Forde (nee Baker) and Michael Baker (Lisa). Predeceased by his Nan and Pop, Charlie and Edna Weir and Nan and Pop, Grace and Hubert Baker who will continue to watch over him. Trent also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many great friends. A special thank you to his nurses from St. Elizabeth's; Jazmine and Moe - you both had a special spot in our hearts and your care and compassion went above and beyond our expectations. Trent's smile and laughter will forever be missed by all who were blessed to have known him. In keeping with Trent's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Dougall) 519-254-2585.
