My heart goes out to all of you. She was an amazing lady. I still have fond memories of practically living at your house when I was young. She was always fun and made me feel like a part of the family, along with Larry and Grace. The Leafloor’s were such a big part of my life and we always had so much fun. Vacations at Miller lake, going to see, The Rocky horror picture show for the first time, at Queens University, canoe trips with the youth group, dancing, rollerskating in the basement of the church, doing "The Hustle" in your living room, Steve and his candle making, your haunted house for Halloween, watching you perform and lip-synch in high school, and even visiting your mom when Leslie would come to her home in Windsor. Those times will always hold a special place in my heart. They were some of the best times in my life. I still have the angel she gave me, that she made. She will be truly missed. I’ve always loved your family. May all the wonderful memories of Jean comfort you at this time. Sending love and positive energy to you all

Leslie, while I didn’t know your Mom, knowing you gives me a glimpse of her. Treasure your memories of the wonderful woman she was. Thinking of you and yours in this difficult time. Mary Goss-Prowse, St. John’s, NL

My sincere condolences to Aunt Jean's family! I have many fond memories of going with my grandparents Roy and Laurette Ward to visit Aunt Jean and Uncle Larry, when I was a young child. She was such a kind, warm, loving and friendly person. She always seemed to have a smile on her face and was busy making or baking something in the kitchen. Rest in Peace Aunt Jean and please give my grandparents a big hug from me when you see them! ❤ Tammy Seabrook

Thinking of you all at this time of loss. Your mother was the embodiment of kindness and motherhood. Steadfast in her pride of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I will always treasure my memory of her sweet smile and laugh and her generosity in sharing her recipes . You all carry her light with you as as you walk through life, her memory and love forever alive in the stories you share.
