Obituary of Jim Tremblay

It is with much sadness we must announce the sudden passing of Jim Tremblay on Monday June 29, 2020 from lymphoma at the age of 71. Born December 12, 1948 to Fermen and Dorothy Tremblay (nee Ferriss). Devoted and loving husband of Candy (nee Day). Beloved father of Melissa and Richard Desbiens, and loving and proud G’Pa of three granddaughters; Rian (Cody), Ricki and Rylie (Ben). Survived by sisters Gail Hind (late Bill, 2019) of Calgary, Judy Lucier (Wayne) of Windsor and Holly Sereda (John) of Kelowna. Also survived by brothers-in-law Randy Day (V-Ann) of Port Dover, Jeff Day (Jennifer) of Windsor and sister -in-law Merrie Day (Patrick) of Essex. Jim was very involved in the Little League Baseball program in District 5, Windsor for over 40 years as a coach, accomplished umpire and district administrator. He attended the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA for many years and loved his vacations in Aruba for over 25 years. Jim enjoyed working at Carrier Truck Centers. Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Jim's life on August 30th 2020. Please join the family at Optimist Park, 1075 Ypres Ave., Windsor, ON on the ball diamond, for a visitation from 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 pm. There will be a service at 4:30 p.m. Casual and baseball attire welcome. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at HDGH - Dr. Y Emara Centre (hdgh.org/donate/tribute) or to Transition to Betterness "T2B" ( t2b.ca/give).
