Obituary of Josette Marie Broad (nee Gignac)

We are very saddened to announce the passing of our beloved wife, step-mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and great aunt, Josette Broad (Gignac). She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Bob, stepson Ryan(Kerrie), her heartbroken parents Ernie and Rosalie Gignac, brothers Frank (Kathe), Paul (Jocelyn), Mike (Cindy), and Matthew (Tara). She was beloved daughter-in-law to Gail and Ted Broad, sister-in-law to Louanne (Jeff), Jim (Diana), David (Laryssa). She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews and two great-nephews who she loved as if they were her own children. Josette retired from General Motors after working at both the Windsor Trim Plant and Oshawa Assembly Plant. Josette fought her final battle with cancer, as she did more than once, bravely, never, ever complaining, with more concern about everyone else than herself. Her undying, selfless spirit will be her legacy. Memorial donations may be made in Josette's name to the Hospice of Windsor.
