Obituary of Gyula Varju

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Gyula Varju on June 17, 2020 at the age of 82 with his loving family by his side. Amazing father to Julius Varju (Valri Tzilos), Marie Fenech (Chad Fenech) and loving Pepa to Aidan Varju (Mechelle Murphy, Yvonne Ouimet) and Connor and Evan Fenech. Gyula was born in Papa Hungary and came to Canada in 1957 and soon after met the love of his life Virginia Scaramuzzino with whom he is now reunited with. His love of story- telling and living for the moment will truly be missed. We will always be grateful for raising us on his own and making us who we are today. Special thanks to Erie St. Clair LHIN and St. Elizabeth for all their excellent support that was given to the family, the PSW’s and nurses were top notch (Debbie will always hold a special part in my heart she was my life line every morning).
