Dear June, Lorraine, Helen and Carol, I just saw your mother's obituary yesterday in an old issue of the Burlington Post. I have such fond memories of your mother. When I joined the McMaster pediatric coagulation research lab, Margaret was so immediately welcoming. When she and the group went to Sick Kids, I remember meeting at her home off Maple Crossing to get a package from Sick Kids that I would then deliver to our lab at MAC. We would spend some time having a visit there. Very cherished memories. My deepest condolences! Les Berry.

How do you describe Margaret - Margaret is a source of information - continually willing to help with my ancestors. She was so into it that you could have said that my ancestors were hers also. We discussed her side of the family and she showed me on a map which house she lived in which was near the seaside in Ireland. Margaret and I went to Purple Heather a few times and shared our Club Wrap with a glass of wine. She would talk so proudly of her grandchildren and how she enjoyed her walks with the dogs. Many of the times when Margaret would come to my house for ancestry discussions, she would take the time to discuss books on Biography with my husband, Bob. Margaret was such a comfort to be with. When on a visit a few days before her death she mentioned that her Dad would be waiting at the gate. Bob and I will miss her dearly. Till we meet again Margaret. Love Greta and Bob.

Ah, Marg....what wonderful memories I have of our years in paediatric oncology at McMaster. We taught each other so much in those years and I smile in remembrance of your caring and thoughtful manner with all whom you touched. To June, Lorraine, Helen, and Carol, my sincere sympathies. Your mom was a model to many and I know how much you will miss her. Marg was one in a million. Susan Dawson Posgate
