I was a good friend of Betty’s for many years going back thirty to forty years ago. We lost touch when I stopped playing bingo. She and my husband Ron worked together. I will never forget Betty for the kind and smart person she was. I have often thought of her in the intervening years and have called her a few times. I just called her London number again to say hello and realized it was disconnected. I am so sorry that I cannot talk to her again. She was a wonderful conversationalist. Please know Betty made the world a kinder place.
