Obituary of Phyllis Guatto

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Phyllis Guatto on March 28, 2020 at Huron Lodge at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband Tony (1987). Born in Brighton, England on August 4, 1922. Phyllis enlisted in the Royal Air Force and started a new life in Canada in 1945. Loving mother of Barry (Liz), Nana to Stacey (Joe) and Jody (Brad). Great Grandmother to Evan, Logan, Aubrey and Emersyn. Phyllis loved to travel and spent many winters in Florida. She enjoyed time at the family cottage and visiting with friends. A heartfelt thank you to Mary Jane, Liz, Veronique and Esther for your friendship, kindness and love throughout her life and during her final moments. Phyllis was truly blessed to have such amazing friends in her life. Special thank you to the staff at Huron Lodge for going above and beyond to ensure Phyllis felt comfort and love throughout her journey. To honour Phyllis's wishes, cremation has taken place.
