So sorry for the loss of such a wonderful woman. I worked with Linda years ago at Big V. She was always so kind and fun to be around. Her and Stan were both great people! May she rest in peace. Kelly Sidaway

Extending my deepest sympathy to Stan & all of Linda's Family at this very sad time. Linda & I worked together back in the fun times of Big V , and I continued to be in touch through our pharmacy interactions. Whenever we talked, whether over the phone or when I saw her at the Casino, we always had lots of family stories to share. Ruth Stewart (pharmacy)

Linda and I were sister-in-laws as well as very close friends even though we lived in different provinces. Linda was someone to whom I could tell my problems, my secrets, but best of all laughs and funny stories. I will miss her and our weekly phone calls.

The Linda Thorne I knew was very kind. She always had a smile on her face whenever I saw her. She was a very generous person; always thinking of others. I enjoyed ALL the tea towels and blankets that she knitted for us throughout all these years of being in our lives. Definitely one of a kind. She will be missed and when I think of her, I know I will smile greatly. Janet.
