Obituary of Kara Elizabeth Ann Strong (nee Shaw)

On March 26, 2020 we suddenly lost a beautiful soul at 39 years old. Kara leaves behind her most precious gifts, her sons Mason and Max. Kara is the daughter of Patty Truman (Larry), Dana Courish, step mom Sharon and step dad Dan Strong. Loving sister of Christopher, Katie (Don), Adam, Cody and step sister of Renee (Greg) and Larry (Steph). Kara was a very loving aunt of Connor, Julie, Aliviah, Brennan and Luke. Loved by many uncles, aunts and cousins. Loving granddaughter and personal hairdresser of Helen Courish (Patrick) who we lovingly call Gramma C. Kara was very special to her godmother Marianne and loved by the whole Adams clan.Kara loved her big sister, Michelle who has been in her life since she was a child. Special friend, Dan Clark, with whom she shared their son Mason. Grammie, Uncle Jeff and Step Dad Larry are waiting for Kara with open arms. Kara has touched many lives with her kindness and laughter. Special long-time sisterfriends, Jackie, Jen, Dana and Cheryl will miss her deeply. Kara was a very loving, giving woman. God needed another Angel and gave her her wings to fly in peace and to be free. "Our family would like to thank the doctors, EMS team, the Pastor, Stephanie and the ICU nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus. The compassion, respect and kindness will be cherished though this, the worst time of our lives. We need to thank our friends and family, for all of the loving messages, prayers and memories that help us to smile. Even throughout this tough global time, we as a family have never felt alone." Cremation has take place. Kara's life will be celebrated at a later date.
