Obituary of George Joseph Hughes

Beloved partner of Catherina Brearton. Dear father of Nicole Hughes of Hamilton and Dylan Hughes of Toronto and stepfather of Amelia Taylor (Brandon) Cassandra Lofranco (David Garrell). Loving grandfather of Keon, Jordan, Joshua, Jade, Jacob and Layla. Brother-in-law of Terrance (Sandra) and Mathew (Valentina). George was born in Port Credit, ON. He was a long standing member of the Port Credit Royal Canadian Legion and an avid hockey player which lead him to coaching over the years. He will be missed by many friends and co-workers at Danny & Sons Auto Sales.At George's request, cremation has taken place. In the summer, there will be a celebration of George's life back home in Port Credit. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Wyandotte) 519-254-2585.
