Obituary of Joanne Lorenzen

Passed away peacefully at Country Village Homes in Woodslee, on March 01, 2020. Beloved wife of John Lorenzen for almost 70 years. Loving mother of Cheryl “Sherry” Lehman (Ken), Carrie Barnett (Dale), late Mike Lorenzen (Jackie) and the late Jeff Lorenzen. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one on the way! Dear sister of Jim Sneddon (Linda) and Barbara Reaume (late George) and sister-in-law of Lynne Lorenzen and David Lorenzen. Joanne is also survived by relatives in Sarnia, ON. For many years, Joanne was a secretary at Forester Collegiate High School. In her later years, she worked as a secretary at Central United Church, a volunteer with Hospice of Windsor and at Morris Sutton Funeral Home. In her spare time, Joanne enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking and camping. At Joanne’s request, cremation has taken place. If so desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
