A short note to recognize Bruce’s passing. As a neighbour, farmer and food inspector there was a lot for me to like about Bruce. His and Mary’s produce was always first rate, properly marked and well presented. His physical stature and his quiet and sharing nature alway brought the word stalwart to my mind. In the eighties we decided to grow a couple thousand early tomato plants to help fund my sister’s wedding. That year Harrow got hailed out and our patch produced well and I proudly told Bruce that we had managed to clear a buck and a half per plant, he took my arm and let me know that in the fifties they did that routinely, and that in the 50s a buck was really a buck. His respect for all thing agricultural made an impression on me. Lastly his love of family at every visit he would relate a story or give an update of the family which really made him beam. Bruce was really a stalwart that I was happy to have know, regards Martin Rahn

To: Linda,William and Mary Elizabeth and extended family We are so sorry to hear of Bruce passing. He was such a good person and years ago had a great time talking about the Mic MAC Hockey team. Those were really the days. For many years, your parents worked on their farm and I always enjoyed visiting with Bruce and Mary. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. Ed and Nancy (Fulmer) Klassen.
