Obituary of Edward Cecile

"God's finger touched him, and he slept" Safely home in the sunshine of God's beautiful garden with his wife Linda (2000), his parents, Raymond and Ida Cecile, and his siblings; Malvina Blais (Paul), Donald Cecile, Genevieve High, Roy Cecile (Bonnie), Carl Cecile, Delores Adam (Walter) and Roger Cecile. Survived by his siblings, Stanley and Lucille Cecile, Mildred Kirby (late Lloyd), Arnold and Denise Cecile, Robert Cecile, Carol Rossell (late Michael), Elaine and Leonard Sylvestre, Margaret and Kenneth Beaumont, Annette Rossell and many nieces and nephews. Edward's pastime was playing Bingo, Euchre and Pepper and watching his favorite hockey team, the Detroit Red Wings. Edward was an employee at Ford Motor Co. and retired in 2001. Edward passed away at Banwell Gardens on February 10, 2020. His family would like to thank the staff, especially Deanne, for the comfort and special care he received during his last days. Prior to that, Edward spent much time in the hospital. His family is very thankful to Dr. Johnston and Dr. J. Warwaruk for the excellent care he received during his stay. Edward was truly blessed to have you both as his doctors. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and thank you to Simple Choice for all of your help during this difficult time. A private family burial has taken place. Edward's wish was to be able to walk again, then everything would be okay. Well Edward, with God's help everything is possible.
