We are the fortunate people who have been entrusted with caring for the land and home that Barb loved for so many years. Every spring as the daffodils poke up and bloom throughout the wooded paths we thank Barb for planting these bulbs that live on. We will regret that she never came back to see the upgrades to her home but will be forever thankful that she passed the torch to us to care for this beautiful property in Woodslee and continue to plant trees and flowers to remember this beautiful lady.

I am so saddened to hear of Barbs passing. She was my preceptor and mentor when I was in school for becoming a nurse practitioner. She has helped to mold me into the nurse Practitioner I am today. I will be forever grateful to have known her. She was such a beautiful loving person. I’m so sorry for your loss. Thinking of all her family at this difficult time.

I can still remember my first trip with GH and Barb praising my cooking, so much so, that she wanted to thank me by offering The Cottage for a week. She wanted Jean Yves and I to experience the beauty of the FRENCH River area, now my home. Such a big heart ❤️. I will miss you Barb. Jules

On behalf of Rick and I and all of three of our gang, I would like to extend our sincere sympathies for your loss. So many memories of your growing up years. Your mother was a saint to put up teenage parties! I hold dear many of the memories that we created in El Triunfo, Guatemala. I still see her charging for the shower, clothes and all to get cooled off. Her heart and caring was bigger than her dislike of the heat. Hugs and prayers to all.

The Rainsforth’s will always remember the special care and attention to she took stitching up our son Evan when he was nine from playing mini sticks to learning she was Nolan’s grandma. A very special woman. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kellie and her family at this time. Godspeed.

I am sending our deepest sympathies at this time ...it has been a complete shock to learn about Barb's passing. She was an inspiration to me over the years ,especially as we worked to help the people of Triunfo Guatemala by bringing medical care to the neediest families throughout the area. Her concern, kindness, and knowledge led the way,as she encouraged all of us to do what we could. It is with a heavy heart that I send this condolence to you -her children and grandchildren and want you to know I will keep you in my prayers . May God's love console you and bring you peace. Sincerely, Sue and Mike Rock. 519 817 5959
