Obituary of Cecile Elizabeth Dutka-Gazo

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the people that loved her. Reunited with her first husband of 46 years Daniel Dutka (March 24, 1997) and her second husband John Gazo of 3 years (January 25, 2012). Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Elizabeth Quenneville. Cecile will be reunited with her 17 brothers and sisters. Much loved mother to Diane Dutka, Debbie Pickering (Jean Marc) and Denise Robertshaw (Glenn). Cherished Grandma to Michelle Sowden, Danny Sowden, David Sowden, Tammy Strickland (Kevin), Kelly Pickering-Walters (Shane), Ian Robertshaw (Stefanie) and Ashley Vandelinder (Sean). Great Grandma to Bennett Curtis, Brady Curtis (Lauren), Jake Sowden, Luke Sowden, Dylan Draper, Chase Draper and Ryan Draper, Abby Strickland, Krista Huegin (Scott), Maddy Walters (Chase), and Brett Ashworth. Great Great Grandma to Colton, Caille and Carter Curtis and Mason Draper. And special and adored Great Meme to Emmett Vandelinder and Miller Robertshaw. Cecile will be missed by many nieces and nephews and so many others that will always remember her for her great smile. At Cecile’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., (519-253-7234) on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from, 10:00 am until time of Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm in the Chapel.
