Phillip Ernest Charbonneau

December 10, 1952 – January 21, 2024

It’s with saddened hearts the family of Sir Phil Charbonneau announces his passing at the age of 71.

He will be deeply missed by his family Sue, Chris (Cristal), Shannon (Greg), Danielle (Nick), Kailee (Kaden), Taylor (Nate), Kolton (Tenley), Kale (Danica), Knox, Kennedy, and Kasen.

Dear friend to Ron Janosik, Dave Tales, Mike Witson, and Pete Goudreau.

Brother to Margaret.  

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. P.A. Bekasiak, the Emergency Department team at Erie Shores Healthcare, and the Palliative Care heathcare team at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital for their care and compassion. 

Phil was a longtime employee at Windsor Raceway. He was an honest, compassionate, and gentle man.

Whenever you needed Phil, he was there. He always put others before himself.

As per Phil’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place.
