Obituary of Donna Catherine Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donna Catherine Johnson announces her passing on January 16, 2024 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Murray Roger Johnson. Cherished mother to son Mark (Sharon) and daughter Pat (Dennis Yanke). Forever loved by her grandchildren Lauren, Lindsay (Harold Randolph), Daniel (Jaime Yanke), Bethany (Akaash Patel), Derek (Laura Yanke) and Matthew (Tia Johnson). Loving GG to Aaron, Adrian, Kensington, Kaylee, Langdon, Corbin, Ellie, Ruby and Blake. She will be missed by her brother Allan Marks and sister Carol Gardiner. Predeceased by sisters Jean, Anne and Bertha and sister-in-law Eleanor. Aunt Donnie will also be missed by many nieces and nephews who share happy memories of family picnics and get-togethers. Donna will also be dearly missed by her extended ‘family’ and friends from Belle River United Church and from Belle River Seasons Retirement Community where she enjoyed bingo, puzzles, and tending her flowers. As per Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and she and Murray will be interred together at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
