Obituary of Sipke Tiesma
Peacefully on January 8, 2024, joining his beloved wife, Jenny (2020), passed away in his 87th year, with his 3 girls by his side. Born in Haarlem, Netherlands and came to Canada with Jenny in 1960. He will be sadly missed by his 3 daughters, Josee (Gordon), Wendy (Tom), Jennifer (Jeff), six grandchildren, and one great grandson. Hank enjoyed playing music with the Tomato Soup Band, was a member of the Dutch Canadian Society, and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed retirement by travelling with Jenny and the family. He enjoyed living his last couple of years at Chartwell Retirement. Thanks to the 4th floor University Hospital team and the Palliative Care Unit, Parkwood Hospital for their care. Celebration of life for Hank and Jenny will be in May, 2024.
