As a childhood friend of Lawne's growing up, I always felt like another kid to Carol and Jeff.
I fondly remember the countless times she scolded us, all the while trying not to burst into laughter at the "crap" we were up to.
My condolences to all of you.

Looking at this picture of your mom reminds me how I always noticed her sense of style, how she always wore he most fashionable jewelry. In the photo I noticed how she still was so fashion conscious with the blue nail polish, always put together. We didn't see each other much since your dad passed away, but that happens when distance and interests change. We still have great memories of lots of fun times over the years, especially some great parties and poker games when you lived closeby in Rexdale. When I picture your mom in my mind, I picture her laughing, she had a great laugh. Funny, that's how I remember my dad too, I even have a picture of him laughing that laugh. I hope that's the kind of warm memory you guys will have too, and I'm sure you will. We send you all a big hug.

My Deepest Condolences. My brother Tommy played hockey with Lawne. I spent what feels like my entire childhood sitting in the stands of hockey arenas around the GTA, and sitting in the stands alongside my parents and sister were both Jack and Carol. Carol was exceptionally warm and kind. May her memory be eternal.
