Obituary of Gregory Lawrence Atkins

Gregory Lawrence Atkins 

May 16, 1948 – December 25, 2023 

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gregory Atkins announces his passing on December 25, 2023.  

Cherished father of Tracy (John), Brian (Amanda), and Gregory Jr.  

He was the proud Popa of Justhien (Jamie), Keyona, Marcedez, Aastin, Aaronn, and Kendrin. He was a great Popa of Lexus.  

He will be forever remembered by his siblings Timothy (Bonnie), Leonard, Micheal (Anne Marie), Jerome (Carole), Marianne (Clovis), Amanda, and Anne (Guy).  

He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Ella and his siblings Thomas, Douglas, Joseph, and Gina.

He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  

Gregory was also predeceased by his faithful companion, Squiggy, who he absolutely adored.  

Gregory was a lover of the outdoors. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved camping and going for picnics and rides on the boat.  Greg loved to play cards with his family and spending time with his grandchildren.  

He will always be remembered by his infectious laugh. 

His family is at peace knowing that he is no longer suffering and that he is reunited with his parents, siblings, friends, and of course, Squiggy.  

Cremation has taken place, and a family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
